Vance Larimer
Attorney at Law
Mr. Larimer earned his undergraduate Bachelors of Science in Economics, Cum Laude, from Colgate University in 1989 and received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1996. Since obtaining his law license, Mr. Larimer has primarily practiced in the area of Plaintiff’s personal injury claims, insurance bad faith, civil litigation, professional athlete claims for disability, and workers’ compensation.
Mr. Larimer has successfully represented clients and co-counseled high profile cases across the country. He has also co-counselled numerous high value cases in Colorado with out of state attorneys. Mr. Larimer has also managed several appellate cases that have significantly enhanced the rights of injured Plaintiffs to collect from their own insurance policies in Colorado.
From 2001 – 2015, Mr. Larimer was also a certified NFL contract advisor. IN that role, he negotiated in excess of 100 million dollars in NFL player contracts. He continues to handle athlete’s claims for professional disability benefits, medical negligence and NFL concussion claims.
His hobbies include golf, skiing, coaching high school football and charity work. Mr. Larimer served on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations, The Chris Rule Foundation and The Fred Tesone Alumni Foundation. His efforts at the CRF primarily support the University of Colorado Depression Center.
Mr. Larimer and his law partners have strong ties to the Denver community. He and Mr. Larson both attended Cherry Creek High School where they played football together on the 1983 state championship team.
Mr. Larimer has been recognized as a Colorado Super Lawyer, was rated as one of America’s Top 100 Attorneys, and was peer nominated into the “multi-million dollar advocates forum” as a top trial attorney in Colorado.
